Happy New Year TCD friends! I hope you all had the best of holidays and are enjoying your last little break before starting back into the routine of the work week. We are currently on a plane heading to CA today, but I wanted to get a little post out to ring in the New Year and highlight a few things…
First and foremost, if you are reading this, you deserve a big fat THANK YOU. The support, love and kindness that you have given me not only this year, but many prior means the world to me and it is your support that definitely keeps me going and keeps me motivated to create content for so many amazing people. All of your love does not go unnoticed, so I truly appreciate you more than you could ever know.
With the new year now having begun, I have some big hopes and dreams for this little slice of the internet and I am so beyond excited to see where it all goes. My intention is to continue helping you find and cultivate joy within your own life as I too, strive to create it within my own. Life is not easy, and if I can help to provide you with a tip, trick, or support in some way, that is all I can really ask for. We all work too hard to not enjoy life or let it pass us by, even the things that feel mundane and boring.
As a result, I am starting this year with the most important thing we can do EACH and EVERY year and that is focusing on getting ourselves organized, cleaned and purged. With means, you guessed it, January’s focus is going to be all about organization, cleaning and purging. To me, you cannot move forward or focus on yourself if you feel like you are living in chaos which is exactly where we end up after the holidays due to the craziness of the past couple of months.
So, feel free to join me in a January reset and look forward to lots of content focused on just that this month.
And lastly, I want to share a few intentions for this year that I have for myself in hopes that maybe they can help you…
- Be present in the moment
- Stay consistent
- Establish a morning routine and a night routine
- Spend less
- Eat intuitively
- Move your body daily
- Do what you love
I personally feel like this is the recipe for success in life and because each and every one of these items is so simple, I think they easily getting passed by. But, as always, take what you like and leave what you don’t and if you are feeling extra zealous, perhaps set your own intentions for 2023.
With that, I couldn’t be more excited for this year and I can’t wait to take it on with you!
xoxo,
Melissa
