2019 Easter Look

Happy Monday babes! In lieu of Easter quickly approaching, I thought today that I would honor a little family tradition from my childhood. While growing up, every year for Easter my  mom would buy my sisters and I a new outfit to wear to church. After talking with a few friends, it sounds like a lot of families take up this fun tradition for their children and truthfully, I think it is all about taking your Sunday best to an all time high, given all that Easter represents.  For me, since my childhood, there has been very few Easters where I have not honored this tradition. In fact, I will literally go out and shop for my “Easter outfit.” It is so fun, gives me a good excuse for a new outfit, and I always love seeing what my family and friends end up wearing.

As a result, I thought it would be fun to share one of my favorite options, in case you girls needed help finding your own Easter look…or Spring look…or wedding look…or shower look…or just a cute outfit!

Wanna know something funny though? Now my family actually spends Easter on the beach at a sunrise service in which most people arrive in sweats or workout clothes, and are typically fairly bundled up in blankets haha. Definitely no Sunday best required, but we typically bring out our cute looks when we all reconvene a few hours later for a late lunch. Regardless, the sunrise service is one of the most beautiful experiences, and one that always grounds me so perfectly, so if you are ever able to go to one, I highly recommend. Something about watching the sunrise as you pray or sing praise, is truly magical.

Bottom line?

I absolutely love this look! It is super easy to wear ( I have already worn it to a rehearsal dinner party) and could easily be dressed up or down. I think the dress is comfortable, cute, and super versatile in its options for events. I love the lace detail and best part of all, is that it is super affordable!

I bought mine in lilac in the store, but online they only have the pink available which is also super cute. Don’t worry though, because if you are stuck on the lilac, I have linked a few others that I love, in that same color below!

P.S. If you are shopping from the Ivy and Leo boutique, be sure to use my discount code TheChicDelight15 at checkout to get 15% off your order (thats 15% off of ANYTHING)!

I can’t wait to see what you all wear and I would love to know if any of you grew up with this tradition as well!
