Easter is just around the corner and is actually one of my FAVORITE holidays. I love everything that it represents – spring, faith, family, and ultimately a sense of renewal. This year, I will be spending Easter with my husbands’ family for the first time in Florida. These past holidays have been so fun learning about my husband and his family’s traditions on holidays! For my family, we actually go to a sunrise service on the beach. It is typically cold, so we are dress very casual for this, which I actually appreciate because the only thing you are focused on is all of God’s beauty. I feel so beyond grounded and blessed during these moments because they are truly crafted by God. Following service, we head home for cinnamon rolls made by my mom. Cinnamon rolls are strictly for special occasions and this is one of them! After that we might go for a hike or just relax at home for a little. We then get ready (cue cute Easter outfit) and have a late lunch (2 pm) with the family. Plus, now that we have kids in the family, this day is made even more special by their excitement for the Easter bunny haha. The rest of the day is spent spending time with family, relaxing, and soaking in all of God’s beautiful blessings.
